There are many resources available to assist veterans in applying for and finding a job. The resources below are a good place to start or you can visit the Military & Veterans department one-stop Veteran Service Center at Patriotic Hall for additional career development assistance.

CalJOBS is the online resource to navigate California’s workforce services providing employment and labor market information for the state of California.

This Californian state website provides available apprenticeship programs searchable by county and occupation group.

Source for Federal employment information for Veterans, transitioning service members, their families, Federal HR professionals and hiring managers.

VISIT FEDERAL JOBS

Provides national, state and local career, labor market, and workforce information using online tools, videos, and maps to a range of local services. CareerOneStop is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor and provides resources and tools for job seekers, students, businesses, and career professionals.

VISIT CAREER CENTER

The Unemployment Insurance (UI) program pays benefits to workers who have lost their job and meet the program’s eligibility requirements. If you have become unemployed, you may file a UI claim.
