DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to attend a remembrance ceremony honoring Private First Class Eugene A. Obregon\, a U.S. Marine and Medal of Honor recipient who was killed in action during the Korean War. \nThe ceremony will pay tribute to PFC Obregon’s courage\, service and sacrifice while preserving the legacy of a Los Angeles native whose actions earned the nation’s highest military decoration for valor. \nSaturday\, September 26\, 2026\n9:00 – 10:00 a.m. \nCalvary Cemetery\n4201 Whittier Blvd.\nLos Angeles\, CA 90023 \nThe remembrance ceremony is presented by Marine Corps League PFC Eugene A. Obregon (MOH) Detachment 1347. Community members\, veterans\, service members and families are invited to attend and help ensure PFC Obregon’s extraordinary service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
