DESCRIPTION:Millions of people across California and around the world will participate in the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill on Oct. 15\, practicing what to do when an earthquake strikes. \nAt 10:15 a.m. on Thursday\, Oct. 15\, participants are encouraged to practice Drop\, Cover\, and Hold On\, the recommended earthquake safety action. Individuals\, families\, schools\, workplaces and organizations can participate wherever they are. \nDate: Thursday\, Oct. 15\, 2026\nTime: 10:15 a.m.\nLocation: Statewide.
