Stephanie A. Stone

Among her significant previous positions, Ms. Stone has worked for Coro Southern California, rising through the ranks to the post of Vice President of Programs and Outreach. She also worked with Goodwill Southern California in the Veteran Employment Program developing supportive services partnerships and linking them to the employment process for Veterans.
Stephanie Stone holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Southern Illinois, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from University of San Francisco, and was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in Los Angeles. She is presently attending the University of Southern California Doctoral in Policy Planning and Development program.
Ms. Stone is a lifelong Angeleno. Her son, Sean, is a graduate of the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy – University of Michigan, Masters in Public Policy, and her daughter, Katie, a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, is working in the entertainment community.
Dimitri de Silva
Acting Chief Deputy, Military & Veterans Affairs
Dimitri joined the department in 2015 as Los Angeles County’s Military Legal Compliance Officer developing and implementing the County’s military leave program, while also overseeing legislation advocacy. Prior to his time with DMVA, he worked in various County legal and administrative positions.
Born in Los Angeles, Dimitri is a proud graduate of UCLA, and Arizona State University – College of Law. He has broad legal and legislative experience, working for Steptoe and Johnson LLP, Wood Smith Henning and Berman LLP, and serving as Los Angeles City Council member Paul Koretz’ Chief Legislative Deputy. In addition to public sector work, he has over eighteen years of private sector corporate and small business experience.
