LOS ANGELES (October 2026) — Los Angeles County is inviting residents to help shape future services and funding priorities through its Community Budget Surveys, open through October 31, 2026. The surveys provide an opportunity to share which County services matter most, where funding should go, and what communities need.
Residents can provide input on individual County departments, including the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (MVA), by identifying funding priorities, highlighting underserved populations and geographic areas, recommending new programs, and suggesting improvements to existing services. This feedback helps inform departmental budget planning and identify opportunities to better meet community needs.
Participation is encouraged from all residents, including those who have previously accessed County services and those who may be unfamiliar with available programs. No name or email address is required, and responses will be provided directly to participating departments for consideration during budget planning.
Residents can complete the MVA Community Budget Survey at lacmva.co/budget_survey or explore other County budget surveys at ceo.lacounty.gov/surveys.
Surveys are available in five languages through October 31, 2026. Residents may complete one or multiple departmental surveys or provide feedback on the overall County budget.
