The LA County Department of Military & Veterans Affairs provides a team of accredited Veterans Service Officers at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall to assist veterans, servicemen, and their families with service-related benefits.

In addition to 22 field offices located throughout LA County, the organization is headquartered at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall, working with multiple partners to provide a full spectrum of resources to veterans and their families, including those listed below.

Part Time In House Partners​

An administration program that identifies justice-involved veterans for outreach purposes and to facilitate access to VA services as soon as possible

DPSS works with veterans and their families to connect with social service programs like CalFresh (California’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program),  WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children), etc.

CFJ provides pro bono legal services to underserved communities, bridging the justice gap for those seeking safety and stability. Each year, CFJ provides direct legal aid to immigrants, U.S. military veterans, and survivors of domestic violence with the support of LACBA and volunteer attorneys.

Department of Aging & Disabilities

AD serves LA County’s growing population of older adults and adults with disabilities to improve the quality of life of older and disabled adults who reside within the County of Los Angeles. These services include Congregate and Home-Delivered Meals, Supportive Services, Family Caregiver Support Services, Traditional Legal Services, Ombudsman, and more.
