The LA County MVA supports Veterans, Service Members, and their Families by guiding them through federal and state benefits, including compensation, pensions, education, medical care, home loans, funeral benefits, and license plate designation. Our licensed Veterans Service Officers also provide referrals for mental health and addiction issues.
We manage Bob Hope Patriotic Hall, a 10-story facility offering conference rooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums, industrial kitchens, and banquet halls available to veteran service non-profit organizations for free and other groups for rental.
The mission of the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is to foster a community where every Veteran, Service Member, and their families are honored and supported through advocacy, resources, and dedicated services.
To be the center of gravity for all military and Veteran initiatives in the county that helps Veterans, Service Members, and their families to realize their full potential.
