The 7th Annual Heroes in the Shadows Stand Down is open to the community and provides veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, and military families with access to services, resources and support.
Available resources include VA claims assistance, housing and homeless support, health and wellness resources, employment and education opportunities, legal assistance, financial and benefits counseling, food, clothing and essential items, and more. Veteran Peer Access Network (VPAN) SD1 will be onsite providing peer-supported connections and resource navigation.
Additional services include showers beginning at 8 a.m. provided by the 155th CSSB, U.S. Army Reserve, and dental and vision services beginning at 8 a.m. provided by The Flying Doctors. Lunch will also be provided.
