James Zenner
Director, Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
James (Jim) Zenner is the Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, overseeing the Veteran Peer Access Network, veteran homeless services, and programs supporting justice-involved veterans. His experience includes leadership roles with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the University of Southern California, and Volunteers of America. Jim brings more than a decade of service to veterans, service members, and their families and is a U.S. Army veteran.

Supervisor, Homeless Services Division
Nareh Alexani brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to addressing housing and homelessness issues. With 15 years of experience in the public sector, her career has been marked by a focus on housing and homelessness initiatives.

Esmeralda Alamillo-Gadut
Program Manager, Veteran Services
Esme Alamillo-Gadut is a Marine Corps veteran and a seasoned Los Angeles County leader having served over 20 years with the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) with a lengthy service in the military veteran non-profit organization space. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in public assistance programs, policies, and benefits.

Cameron Cook
Supervisor, Justice-Involved Veterans Services Division
Dr. Cameron Cook is a veteran services leader with more than two decades of experience supporting veterans, service members, and military families. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he served as an Aviation Ordnance Technician with assignments in Okinawa, Camp Pendleton, and Iraq. His service shaped a lifelong commitment to improving veteran access, systems, and long-term outcomes.

Joaquin Enriquez is a seasoned veteran advocate professional and military veteran with more than 20 years of distinguished experience in both military and civilian leadership roles.
